Indian Institute of Technology invites applications for the following posts:
Number of Position: 01 (One) (UR-01)
Job Designation: Registrar
Educational Qualification: A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale. Experience: (i) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above or with 8 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration, or (ii) Comparable experience in research establishments and/ or other institutions of higher education, or (iii) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/- and above.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs.10000/-, License fee free unfurnished accommodation on the campus will be provided.
Age Limit: Preferably below 55 years
Mode of Appointment: The appointment shall be on contract basis for a period of five years, renewable on mutually agreed terms.
Desired Candidate Profile: Proven ability of administering, preferably in a large educational or research Institution, with additional degree in Law/ Management.
