Job Designation: Director General in National Library
Eligibility: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Semi-Government or Statutory & Autonomous organizations.
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in parent Cadre/Department OR
- With three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band IV Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.10,000 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department. And
- Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Fifteen year’s experience (including research work) in education or libraries or Archives or database Management out of which five years’ experience shall be in administrative matter.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Management from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent in Library Sciences or Information Technology.
Age Limit: 56 Years as on 15th May, 2013
