Ministry of Shipping invites applications for the following posts:
Job Designation: Nautical Advisor
Number of Positions: 1 (One) (UR-01)
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000/- + G.P-12000/-
Eligibility: Officers of Central Government / State Government / Union Territory Administration / Port Trusts / Shipping Companies in the public sector:- (I) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or (II) Extra Master’s Certificate of Competency with fourteen years of experience in survey and inspection of foreign going ships and equipment on board such ships; or Master’s Certificate of Competency with sixteen years experience in survey and inspection of foreign going ships and equipment on board such ships; or M.Sc. Degree in Maritime Affairs or its equivalent from a recognized University including World Maritime University, Malmo with eighteen years experience in survey and inspection of foreign going ships and equipment on board such ships.

How To Apply For Opening: Applications in triplicate in the given Proforma (Annexure II) alongwith the complete and upto-date CR dossiers (or photocopies of ACRs for the last five years duly attested by a Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) of the officer, who could be spared in the event of his/her selection may be sent to this Ministry within 45 days from the date of publication of this Advertisement in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar. Applications received after the last date or without the attested each page of photocopies of the ACRs for the last 5 years or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the application, it may be certified that no disciplinary proceedings are being contemplated/are pending against the officer.
